REGISTRATION PROCESS STEP BY STEP:

Please visit our Daisy Academy Montessori Preschool website-it contains valuable information about our programs, fees and availability. We also encourage parents to contact our school with all the questions by phone or email.

 

Contact and Visit

 

Parents can contact us to set up an appointment with the Principal. During the short meeting the classroom will be shown to the parents and the Principal will evaluate if Daisy Academy's educational goals match the parents goals and expectations. Parents will be given Parents Handbook and the Application Package.

 

Application

 

If a space can be offered to a child, parents need to complete the Application Form and hand it to the Principal. The Application Form should be accompanied by:

- non-refundable registration fee

- tuition payment (this can be paid in full or by a series of 9 post dated cheques, dated for the 1st of each month starting from the month of enrollment plus deposit in the amount of one month tuition - this will be applied to the annual tuition as a payment for the remaining 10th month).

 

CHILD CARE SUBSIDY:

 

The Ministry of Children and Family Development may provide a childcare subsidy for the care of children who attend a licensed preschool. Families do not need to be receiving social assistance to be eligible for subsidy.

WAITING LIST

 

If a space in our Academy is not immediately available to your child, you may be placed on the waiting list. We will notify you as soon as the space becomes available.

 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

 

Parents can withdraw a student from the Daisy Academy at any time, however we require one month's written notice - from the 1st of the month or the deposit will not be refunded. In the event that a child is withdrawn less than 3 months prior to the end of the school year, tuition fees shall be paid to the end of the school year. Notice to withdraw a child must be given no later than March 1st, or tuition must be paid to the end of the school year. Because the school is closed for summer vacation, notice must be given by June 30th for the withdrawal of a student enrolled for September or refund is forfeited. Remaining tuition cheques will be returned to you.
