TEACHERS

At the Daisy Academy we believe that building strong bonds between the school and the child's home is very important; and as such we recognize that the parents are the primary educators and the school is the secondary one. Our teachers and parents make up a warm and supportive community, and together we are working towards the child’s self-development.

With an excellent teacher to student ratio (two teachers for a maximum of eighteen students), Daisy Academy is able to deliver a quality Montessori program and provide maximum care and attention to each student.

The teachers at the Daisy Academy Montessori Preschool have formal Early Childhood Education (ECE) training and Montessori licensing. They meet all the requirements of the Child Care Facilities Licensing Act.

RENATA AKSAMIT

Principal and Head Teacher

Renata Aksamit is a founder and principal of the Daisy Academy Montessori Preschool.
She has over seven years of experience working with children both in group childcare and home settings.
Renata is a qualified Montessori and Early Childhood Educator certified by Province of British Columbia.
Renata also holds a Masters Degree in Linguistics.

She currently works as the Head Teacher at the Daisy Academy. 

She continually updates her knowledge and skills through professional development courses.
